As a general contractor, Tutor Perini is responsible for planning and scheduling the manpower, equipment, materials and subcontractors required for the timely completion of a construction project. In addition, Perini frequently self-performs many key construction tasks, such as concrete placement and excavation. Perini Management Services Inc. performs specialized, rapid-response construction assignments for the U.S. government and multi-national corporations at home and abroad. Recent projects include State Department security upgrade projects at select overseas locations.

	The company was incorporated in 1918 as a successor to businesses that had been engaged in providing construction services since 1894. Tutor Perini’s common shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker “TPC.”
